 Matt Prater, a singer songwriter, is the perfect blend of country, folk, and bluegrass that remains relevant to all generations. 


His albums, "Small Town Son” (2010), “The Mountain” (2013), "Tables and Chairs" (2015) and "Same Ole Highway Blues" (2017), are filled with stories of family, poetry, humble beginnings, and Southern American tradition. His music is real and authentic, its "Roots Run Deep". 


Matt keeps a full schedule independently touring songwriter showcases, music venues and festivals such as the Frank Brown International Songwriter Festival, radio shows such as WDVX's Blue Plate Special, WSM's Route 650, 30A Songwriter Radio as well as private events all over the country. He has been included in songwriter rounds with #1 hit writers and top shelf performers and has opened shows featuring artists such as Mo Pitney, Colt Ford, The Henningsens and Shenandoah. Living in the Heart of Dixie and the Americana Music Triangle, Matt appears regularly at venues all over "The Hit Recording Capitol of the World"...Muscle Shoals, AL and Nashville's famous Blue Bird Cafe, The Nashville Palace and Nashville's Honky Tonk Tuesday Nights.
